Return and Refund Policy
At YOME Collection we do our best to deliver every order carefully and correctly. If you are not satisfied with your purchase — for example a vanity table, dressing table or another product from our collection — you are, as a consumer, generally entitled to cancel your purchase under the statutory rules for distance sales.
1. 14-day right of withdrawal
Have you purchased a product through our webshop, such as a vanity table, dressing table or accessory? In most cases you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receipt, without giving any reason.
After notifying us that you wish to withdraw, you have a further 14 days to actually return the product to us.
2. Registering a return
You can register your return by sending an email to support@yomecollection.com.
Please include the following where possible:
- your name;
- your order number;
- the product you wish to return;
- the date of receipt.
3. Return conditions
During the cooling-off period you may inspect and assess the product in the same way you would in a physical store. This also applies if you have ordered a larger dressing table or vanity table. We ask you to handle the product with care.
If the product has been used more than necessary to assess it, we may apply a reasonable reduction to the amount to be refunded in the event of any diminished value.
Please return the product as complete as possible and, where reasonably possible, in its original packaging.
4. Return costs
The direct costs of returning the product are for the customer's account.
Even in the event of withdrawal within the statutory cooling-off period, the cost of return shipping remains at your own expense, unless expressly agreed otherwise or in the case of an incorrect, damaged or defective product.
For larger products, such as vanity tables and dressing tables, return shipping costs may be higher than standard parcel shipping. We therefore recommend contacting us in advance at support@yomecollection.com so that we can advise you on a suitable return method.
5. Refund
Following a valid withdrawal, you will receive a full refund for the returned product, including the standard delivery costs of the original shipment, provided that the entire order is returned.
If you return only part of your order, the original delivery costs will not be refunded.
We will process the refund within 14 days after you have informed us of your withdrawal. We may wait to issue the refund until we have received the product, or until you have demonstrated that you have returned the product, whichever is earlier.
The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
6. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal may be excluded for products that have been manufactured to your specifications or that have a clearly personal character.
This may, for example, apply to vanity tables or dressing tables specially made to order, or adjusted at your request in terms of size, colour, finish or composition.
7. Damaged, incorrect or defective products
Have you received a damaged, incorrect or defective product, such as a damaged vanity table or dressing table? Please report this as soon as possible to support@yomecollection.com.
If possible, please include clear photos. This helps us to assist you more quickly and does not affect your statutory rights.
If a product is defective or does not meet what you could reasonably expect, you are entitled to an appropriate remedy. Depending on the situation, this may consist of repair, replacement, an appropriate price reduction or a refund of the purchase price.
8. Damage caused by improper use
Returns or complaints may be refused to the extent that the damage is the result of improper use, incorrect assembly or handling by the customer, normal wear and tear, or damage that is not the result of a defect in the product itself.
9. Processing of returns
Once we have received and inspected your return, we will inform you about the further processing of the return and the refund.
If the return meets the conditions of this policy, the amount owed will be refunded via the original payment method.
